Ouija-The Hunt Begins

CHAPTER 1

It was christmas eve , Blake my husband decided to take me to our friend Kristein's and Ajay's farm house a few miles away from the city. Blake and I, Mira was married for almost three years happily with no children and Kristein and Ajay were married for two years and they too didn't have any kids. So we were sailing on the same boat. My husband and Ajay were working together in the same company and I am a writer. Kristein owned a bakery of her own and trust me she was perfectly good at it.While we were driving to the farm house which was named as "Nest" we thought of having our own property some where and talked about it. Then we got a call from them saying that there was a surprise for both of us. A surprise? What was that? I kept on thinking. After an hour of journey which were somewhat better as we got into the woods as there was no traffic there, we reached Nest. Our honeymoon was in Nest and we came here for many other occasions. We had lots of memories here.

Finally, we were received by a happily smiling couple, our friends. As we got inside we came to know that there were few more familiar faces, Taran my brother and his wife Anu was there, Anu's brother Arun , My brother Manny and Ajay's twin sisters Avni and Athiva were there. It felt like a great get together than our usual old christmas party. It was Ajay's idea , to do something different this year for christmas to make it all different and yeah, so far it all looked great. Then to my greatest horror Ajay asked me and Blake to open a long rectangular shaped package, which was supposed to be our christmas present this year. We started opening it up with a smile which started fading slowly as we saw an Ouija board inside with planchette, My heart screamed wildly which only my mind could hear and I threw myself on the sofa behind and asked them "What is it?" when I saw blake looked confusedly at them."It's your present" said Ajay with a naughty look."C'mon Ajay ! This doesn't look funny to me!" I said angrily. "Is it a prank or something?" enquired my confused husband. "No guys, we are going to play it today" said an excited Kristein.What? What was suddenly wrong with these guys? It was a lovely christmas eve and they wanted to celebrate it with darkness? I thought we had to bring light in life in such a blessed eve. We had gone to the church in the morning and had met father Bernard who promised to bless our home as soon as we returned from the little party time. But what is all this now? Arun came forward and explained how he and Manny found this Ouija board in an old antique shop while they went to get something for their friends house warming. They were attracted to it in the dusty corner of the shop and brought it along for some fun it seems. Was it fun? Really? I stood up and said I wanna leave the place as soon as possible and told Kristein that this kind of things bring negative energy to the home but everyone laughed it off and called me "The serious Mira". Blake too was clearly not interested in this but all others were so interested and so we decided to go inside and take some rest and left the guys to play it.

CHAPTER 2

We took a shower and dozed off until we heard an unsusal cry from outside which woke us up. We opened the door slowly and found Kristein bleeding on the floor , Arun stood nailed to a wall with terribly scared eyes, Ajay was no where to be found while Manny was lying on the sofa unconcious. Avni was crying and Athiva was no where to be seen. Blake screamed "What is happening?" and Arun pointed his finger towards the kitchen and Blake started to move towards the kitchen . I went towards the kitchen grabing his hand badly. We couldn't find anyone there but found some blood drops on the floor and we followed it till the kitchen door until it was nowhere to be seen.

We went back to them while Avni was helping Kristein in getting up and gain Blake asked them all what happened and slowly Arun started to say that they were playing with the OUIJA. Blake took his phone and did something quietly while I waked Manny up and closed the Kitchen door. Manny began to say what happened while we were not there "We all started calling the spirit and initially it was just making me and Athiva scared as we were the one's who were scared in the whole group then later the fun ended when the planchette really started moving by some external force. We have only seen it in movies and all but it was all real and was happening with us. We asked the spirit it's name and the plachette moved to the letters H-E-LE-N and her place was D-E-L-H-I but she stayed in the same house before Ajay brought it from Mr.Khanna and she said her death was a M-U-R-D-E-R but before we could ask more Ajay suddenly fell unconscious to the floor and then we all started to panic and I was asking the spirit what was happening and the planchette moved to the words S-C-A-R-E-D and left. Then Ajay woke up and started to hurt each one of us. When Kristein went to get hold of him as he was chasing Athiva to the kitchen he used a knife to bleed her. As soon as I saw her blood, I fell unconcious to the sofa and then what happened I don't know."

Avni began" Then Arun lost his voice, I couldn't movie from where I was and Ajay chased her outside into the dark from the kitchen and I don't know if Athiva is-" she began to cry and I comforted her. Blake got up and asked Manny to go with him in search of Athiva and Ajay , even though I was scared and asked him not to do that he still took out the torch and opened the door to go when a car came into the porch. It was Blake's and Ajay's parents with my uncle and behind their car was a police jeep.

The police went out to search for Ajay and Athiva meanwhile the Inspector Vihan started to hear our story. Our parents were complaining us for what we have done , playing with an unknown mysterious board and bringing in lots of trouble.

CHAPTER 3

I wondered how our parents came at the right time when dad told us "I,Ajay's dad, Mira's uncle and Inspector Vihan got the same message from Blake half an hour before and thats why we are here with help".

"Yeah, I texted him. As , I knew calling them would make problems if Ajay hears our phone call" said Blake.

My uncle came and huged me and comforted me. Ajay mom was crying very badly thinking about Ajay and Athiva and Blake's mom comforted her. Then our Mamma asked us to get out of the place and be safe. Even Vihan insisted us the same. So the Police where there and we left . Kristein was not ready to go without Ajay but we managed to convince her. After half an hour we left the house in two cars , Kristein who was sleeping in Ajay's mom lap suddenly jumped up and started crying "Athiva is dead". And mom started to loose her control and cry too. Arun tried to quieten her and comforted Ajay's mom. As we were in the other car we didn't knew anything of this until we reached home. Later, Kristein told us her dream where she saw Athiva hiding behind a tree and Ajay's hand on her shoulder. As she turned back, she saw an other face which was not Ajay's which Kristein couldn't recognize.

Then after we calmed her down and gave her some water . Ajay's mom took her to bed so that she will get some rest. When Blake's dad got a call from Inspector Vihan saying "Uncle, two cops who went in search of Ajay and Athiva , are no more. We found their body in the morning as we went for another search and one of them was found severely injured and was taken to the hospital and he is in a critical condition. But Ajay and Athiva are nowhere to be seen."

Even though we paniced , we didn't say anything to Ajay's mom and Kristein. The next day as I woke up, I freshened up and was going to get the milk and newspaper when the telephone started ringing. And when I took the phone I heared an unknown creepy voice "THE HUNT BEGINS".

I got scared and moved back and started running to Blake when I heard a knock at the door. I ran faster to blake and told everything waking him up. As, we came down, the knocking sound had already stopped and there was dead silence and Blake opened the door to fo find no one outside and then he took the newspaper and milk and came back . He asked me to make tea and handed me the milk packet as I was going to the kitchen Blake got a call from Vihan and I came back to listen to what had happened. Blake looked shocked and put the phone down and I shaked him and asked him constantly what happened and he told it was not Vihan but someone who said "THE HUNT BEGINS" in a creepy voice. As I started to look down and cry, I found blood in the newspaper and opened it to see what was it when again it was written on the newspaper with blood "THE HUNT BEGINS". Now I am sure that this was not the end but the begining of something beyond our imagination.
