Embarking on a 3 nights and 4 days journey to North Goa proved to be an exhilarating adventure. Opting out of packaged tours, we embraced the spirit of true exploration, relying on our trusty companion, Google Maps, to chart our course! 😅 My fascination with travel was ignited back in the 5th grade when I devoured Jules Verne's "Around the World in 80 Days." Now, with each trip, I'm taking baby steps toward fulfilling that childhood dream.
Choosing the off-season for our visit, we anticipated lower prices, but to our surprise, the throngs of tourists remained undeterred. It's worth noting a few travel essentials: opt for rentals with yellow license plates to avoid police fines, ensure proper documentation for rented vehicles, and don't forget your valid driver's license. If you're bringing your own vehicle, be sure to obtain the necessary permits. And for two-wheelers, a helmet is non-negotiable.
For a 3 nights and 4 days excursion, budgeting around 25k, inclusive of bus charges (or adjusting for train or plane fares if applicable), should suffice. However, it's entirely feasible to explore Goa on a tighter budget, ranging from 15k to 20k.

Also, we should not forget one thing: "a nice company is one thing to be grateful for when you tick off places from your travel bucket list."
