Muskmelon and Weightloss Journey

Muskmelon is good for weightloss, as jt contains low calorie and it also has good liquid content. They also contain fiber, and reduces constipation. They co ntain potassium, Vitamin A & C. Helps with digestive issues. Did you know muskmelon helps with menstruation, reduces the pain and flow. Muskmelon also beta-carotene. It also has anti- inflammatory properties and anti-oxidants. Muskmelon is also good for your face and skin.Muskmelon can also be consumed daily. I usually consume muskmelon, as juice. I feel so full after a glass of this drink. But muskmelon can also be consumed in numerous ways you can consume it in the form of smoothie,milkshake, carrot and muskmelon juice, can be added in our fruitbowl, muskmelon and orange can be juiced, a combination of muskmelon and grape makes a good juice, so is a combination of muskmelon,orange and coconut juice. Healthy eating helps us come in terms with our body.Muskmelon cools our body and also is good for our kidney. When you consume muskmelon avoid adding milk to it if you already have a weak stomach because as it might not go well for some people, since milk is a laxative and muskmelon helps get rid of toxins from body, they are diuretic.


Can we include muskmelon in our breakfast? It is adviced not to, because fruit consumption on our empty stomach specially high fibre food as it can cause gas trouble.


What is the best time to consume muskmelon? After breakfast, its ideal to consume the fruit and it can also be consumed as a snack in late afternoons or during tea time.


Can we consume muskmelon in the night?

Preferred not to have it close to the time you choose to sleep as it has high Glycemic Index ( GI), so it can spike your blood sugar and can keep you up at night.
