The Nun II movie review

The Nun II is a sequel to The Nun which was released in 2018. Even though most reviews I heard mentioned it as an average film, I liked the film and so I decided to talk about it. The actors Taissa Farmiga (who acted as sister Irene in part 1) and Jonas Bloquet (who acted as maurice in part 1) are still the central characters of the film.Both of them had a simple style of portraying their characters matching the time and place they were put into in the story. The villain of the story valack, has been shown in the most devilish and inhumane way, killing innocent teenagers even.I like how the sequel focused on the reason why valack stayed back,the motive. There was romance, bullying, dealing with traumas which took the side track driving the story. The storyline of st lucy was a good addition to the part II, which strengthened the script I feel. But I also understood why most people called it average, its because usually a horror movie that closely focuses on the church or the christian faith often surrounds a powerful demon and a holy relic. So for people who call it average, this might have looked like the usual plot.
