Waking up early in the morning,

What do I open?

I thought.

Facebook? or Whatsapp?

Oh! I had to update my insta with a picture.

Did you brush your teeth?

mamma asked.

Eat your breakfast,

she added.

Did I brush my teeth?

I thought.

Hey, did I say good morning;

im my whatsapp group?

Oh wait! what about the new facebook post?

I haven't posted anything,

since two days.

Did I comment on friends post?

Hey,I was totally busy;

I thought.

Not a loafer anymore.

So many updates,posts and chats to be completed;

comments,likes and friendrequests to be accepted.

What if you don't have a friend?

Or if your family is not with you?

The loneliness are forgotten,

when social media keeps you busy,

New people we meet in facebook,

connect through messenger,

follow them in Insta;

and finally keep them close through whatsapp.

Block they do sometimes,

to our little mischieves.

But you can do that too.

Then again comes some new people along.
