Dear Men

Dear men,

Why is it that advice often seems to meet resistance? Could it be the lingering notion of male supremacy, or perhaps the weight of societal expectations dictating that men must have all the answers?

But here's the truth: we don't expect perfection from you. You're allowed to shed tears, seek guidance, and express yourself freely. Being a man doesn't mean conforming to a rigid mold. You can be vulnerable; you can break free from stereotypes.

Let's dismantle the idea that men must solely be providers, protectors, and unyielding shoulders to lean on. We, as women, can share these responsibilities. We can care for you, handle challenges alongside you, and step in when needed.

What truly matters is your willingness to evolve. Life is a journey of learning and unlearning, of rediscovery and growth. It's okay to hit pause, to reflect, and to ask yourself, "What if?"

What if you allowed yourself to cry when the weight became too heavy? What if you took a moment to rest? What if you resisted the pressure to conform and impress?

Keep questioning, keep exploring, keep evolving. And remember, you don't need validation from anyone but yourself.

Men can walk freely at night, enjoy a drink without judgment, and pursue their passions without fear of ridicule more than a woman specially in India. But men do get judged for all these reasons also.Embrace your authenticity, your vulnerabilities, and your uncertainties. It's in these moments of self-discovery that true strength lies.

So, dear men, let's rewrite the narrative. Let's break free from the constraints of outdated masculinity and embrace a new definition of manhood—one rooted in self-awareness, empathy, and the courage to be unapologetically true to oneself.

With solidarity and respect,

A woman
