Independence : I find it hard to breathe

Wiping out the tears ,

Pain,

Washed up kajal,

Melting moisturizer with all the sweat and tears,

A little cuss word here and there,

A panic alarm goes off,

Heaviness sets in,

Cannot sleep,

And morning comes again,

Its still a dawn on hopes,

Mustering up courage after the routine cry,

Goes up to the mirror to makeup for all the shame and guilt,

By layering up on makeup,

Knowing very well that I will be smudged,

By sweat,

Tears,

Pain,

And guilt by evening.

The burden that you feel you are,

Is like a sack that keeps getting heavier on someones head,

Now day by day the weight increases,

And finally you get dumped.

You are not enough,

Maybe too much,

You are incapable,

Unworthy ,

You dont belong,

You are the mess they created,

The job that makes you feel void,

Every single day,

Making you feel like you are not the right fit,

All the work you have done from school to college,

It just gets buried and there is nothing,

Darkness,

Hopelessness,

Independence!

I find it hard to breath,

Listening to the hopes many get,

When they sit with books to ace exams.
