Music has a great impact on our cognitive function in various ways, always helps with our resilience and coping mechanism during challenging times, bringing control over emotions, nurturing creativity, its a therapy which provides emotional support, it is also an expression of our emotions which resonate with our feelings, its a great mood uplifter, makes us more energetic, music also helps with stress reduction and relaxation. I have a various collection of my favorite musics in many languages, but my favorite is always #malayalam and sometimes I also listen to music without lyrics just the calming sounds and nature sounds. Music is also connected with movement the theme for 2024 mental health awareness, you can dance to the tunes of nature calming and relaxing your body, or you can dance to an energetic number or even engage in classical dance or do workout. When Im workingout the music that flows out of my gym speaker, helps me increase my pace and there is so much energy flowing. I have noticed with the kind of music played the intensity of our workout changes, fast numbers brings more energy according to me.Music plays a significant role in our mental and physical wellness journey. Music is not just an art but also a way of disconnecting and reconnecting with our own self. It also helps in reflecting on our journey so far and moving ahead.
