Taking a vacation with your partner

After coming back from the trip,I was going over the things that happened, all the #sweetmemories and all the #bitterness in-bewteen. Oh we had fights, and he is the silent participant most of the time, he had mastered the art of ignorance ( which irks me alot ), but there are these beautiful moments, where he have tied my hair (and when he does that he is so gentle as to not make the mistake of breaking my hair), he is so gentle and he even pats down my hair so carefully. He holds my slippers or bag while I was playing in the waters, or going to the washroom, he swaps the drinks when the waiter keeps it wrongly "assuming" men might take the stronger drink than woman (which is absolutely not true), he is absolutely confident to sip on his beer when I was chugging my feni like a pro. He took care of me , when I was hyper active , even took some video and photos of mine. He found a sea shell from morjim beach and gave it to me cause he knows I love collecting sea shells and my love for beaches. When I had sunburn he applied aloe vera gel on my shoulders. These are nothing special, these are the things a man should do as a human-being and as a caring partner. We had fights too with navigating our routes during travel or other reasons which can be silly but the point is , this journey was a huge learning. This is the second time we are taking a trip and we are learning more and more about each other. Its so hard to give each other quality time in a long distance relationship especially as u r not that couple who sleeps on a video call or talks for hours. No, thats not us. Every couple are different, its efforts that count. Sometimes when things dont workout we are worried about what we have built so far, all that efforts, the love shared between each other, I am sure for no couple its easy to part ways, thats why we have to understand our differences and help each other understand how to navigate our routes forward. Its beautiful when you listen to each other, in this trip I was fortunate enough to listen to him, understand his thoughts.
